New directions in fluxgate sensors
Although fluxgates may have resolution of 50 pT and absolute precission of 1 nT, their accuracy is often degraded by crossfield response, non-linearities, hysteresis and perming effects. The trends are miniaturization, lower power consumption and production cost, non-linear tuning and digital processing. New core shapes and signal processing methods have been suggested.
متن کاملNeural Monitoring With CMOS Image Sensors
Implantable image sensors have several biomedical applications due to their miniature size, light weight, and low power consumption achieved through sub-micron standard CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) technologies. The main applications are in specific cell labeling, neural activity detection, and biomedical imaging. In this paper the recent research studies on implantable CMOS i...
متن کاملSymmetrical core improves micro-fluxgate sensors
Microfluxgate sensor with flat coil and double-sided symmetrical core has significantly improved parameters over the original asymmetric single-sided core design. The magnetic circuit of the new sensor is more closed and so the core is deeper saturated. The sensor hysteresis was decreased from 30 μT to 2.5 μT (for full range). Noise level was decreased from 242 nT to 27 nT rms (0.1 mHz to 10 Hz...
متن کاملEnvironment Monitoring of an Enclosed Place Like Underground Mines with ANSYS Software and Sensors Based Technology
This paper deals with the issue of safety inside underground mines. The safety system designed based on wireless sensor network. The position of the different sensors inside underground mines is set by using analysis with ANSYS software. The safety system modeling in this paper is cost effective, energy saver , consistent, uninterrupted. This system performs automatic monitoring of different us...
متن کاملDetection of Intrusion Across Multiple Sensors
We have been developing an architecture for reasoning with multiple sensors distributed on a computer network, linking them with analysis modules, and reasoning with the results to combine evidence of possible intrusion for display to the user. The architecture, called MAITA, consists of monitors distributed across machines and linked together under control of the user and supported by a “monit...
